GPFC 2026 Mechanics

There will be a total of 3 Events (North Qualifiers, South Qualifiers, and Finals)
  • North Qualifiers - Hobby Alley Munoz QC Branch - October 10, 2026 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • South Qualifiers - Hobby Alley EDSA-Pasay Branch  - October 24, 2026 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • FINALS - Hobby Alley EDSA-Pasay Branch - November 07, 2026 1:00pm to 5:00pm
10 Winners from each Qualifier will be battling for the Finals.
* A Participant should register to ONE QUALIFIER only.
* Registration Fee: P500.00 (auto-converted into store credits)
 
[What To Bring]
  • BEST POSABLE AUTHENTIC GUNPLAs (unlimited)
  • Props (unlimited).
  • Mobile phone(s) with mobile data for submission.
  • Optional: Own Light source (w/ own battery or power source)
[Contest Mechanics - Applicable to (Qualifiers and Finals)]
  • THEMEs will be announced on-site, (Total of 3 THEMES)
  • All participants should be in HobbyAlley before the reveal of each theme and after submission of entries.
  • Backdrops will be readily available and may be used if needed (First-Come-First-Served basis 1 min. max per participant).
  • Draw lots will be used to determine the usage sequence of our Gunplathography Booth (if needed). 1min per Participant only.
  • Mobile phones only.
  • Participants may capture as many photos as needed until the given deadline. But shall only submit one entry per theme.
  • Hobby Alley reserves the right to disqualify entries which violates the contest's criterias and/or T&Cs.
[Contest Flow]
  • EACH THEME will be revealed one at a time.
  • Participants will be given 45 MINUTES to compose, shoot, select, touch-up, and submit entries via a designated email.
  • Participants may shoot INSIDE THE SHOP OR GO OUTDOORS (nearby park, mall, etc.), but should be back at HobbyAlley after submission and before the end of 45mins.
  • Participants are NOT ALLOWED to shoot WITHIN THE BUILDING PREMISES.
  • Editing is ONLY limited to Cropping, Rotating, and in-camera app Basic Color Corrections. However, usage of FILTERS may be allowed, mainly for presentation purpose and won’t be a factor for judging the entries.
  • Participants should always take TWO VERSIONS of the photo ONE FINAL PHOTO and its UNEDITED VERSION.  These TWO PHOTOS have to be uploaded and submitted via a designated google forms (link will be provided on the day of event).

  • FINALS: One Best of Show (Participants’ score accumulation from themes 1 to 3 (including qualifiers).
